In line with the strategic goals and objectives to be achieved in healthcare, IVEK Foundation’s R&D & Biotechnology Commission is set to hold the BIO Turkey Event with an international perspective in an effort to improve the medical and pharmaceutical biotechnology ecosystem in Turkey and make sure all stakeholders offer their inputs. BIO Turkey is intended to gather all direct or indirect stakeholders in medical and pharmaceutical biotechnology and serve as an efficient platform where challenges and solutions concerning biotechnological ecosystem are discussed by public and non-governmental organizations, universities and businesses in Turkey. The occasion comprises three main events:

BIO Turkey - International Biotechnology Convention
BIOSphere
All presentations, paper submissions, suggestions, workshops, panel discussions, symposia and events that are not covered by scientific (academic) papers and presentations by BIO Turkey are going to be addressed as a part of the BIOSphere event. As a part of the BIO Turkey event, all stakeholders will improve the ecosystem by means of engaging in both networking and partnering, and all sponsorsing agencies and organizations are going to promote themselves and meet their target audience.
StartHUB This platform, where start-ups or businesses with research on products that have yet to be turned into an initiative will gather, is a hub where research meets sponsors or investors. It is going to offer a setting for start-ups or domestic and international networking and partnering among start-ups.

The official languages of BIO Turkey – International Biotechnology Convention are Turkish and English. Abstracts in English are going to be reviewed and those approved are going to be released in the convention proceedings.

Abstracts should be submitted on-line via the website (https://bioturkiye.org/) using the AbstractAgent abstract system. Presentations can be sent as a poster or oral presentation. Abstracts that are submitted via e-mail or mail independantly from the system shall not be accepted. Proofreading should be conducted for the abstracts because abstracts submitted online will be published as they are without any further spellcheck. Deadline for submission of abstracts is 17 February 2020. Abstracts shall be submitted in English and shall not be longer than 350 words.
Those who will make oral presentation are required to send their full texts in 2-4 pages. You can upload your full texts in the step 8 of the online presentation system.
